Happy Father's Day

With father's day approaching, Simply Voicing My Opinion would like to celebrate Grandfathers, Dads, stepdad, adoptive dads, dad-in-laws, dads in heaven, pet dads, new dads, Goddads, expecting dads and honorary dads.

My blog promotes self care and self love. But neither of these are a priority on men's list of things to do.

In the bible you will find responsibilities God gave to man. Below are only a few:

To work (Gen 2:15)

To provide (1 Tim. 5:8)

To be courageous (Joshua 1:9)

Be strong (1Corithian 16:13)

To love (Matthew 22: 37-39)

To be compassionate (Ps 103:13)

To be a Father (Eph 6:4)

The advertising media show self-care as something practiced primarily by women. This is not the case. Self care is equally as important for men, though they may not know where to begin.

This holiday gives the perfect opportunity for us, moms, wives, daughters, or sisters to help them navigate this form of self care.

Simply Voicing My Opinion offer the following suggestions. But remember the key is to give him time to focus on himself. (Women, we call it me time). An opportunity to recharge.

But when all else fails, just ask him what he would like in celebration of him.

Until the next post. Stay safe and be blessed 💞
