Take a deep breath: use positive affirmations to breath life into your spirit, your day.

In todays society we find ourselves with multiple obligations. Sometimes we are pulled in various directions, seemingly at the same time. Affirmations, be it scripture, positive quotes or self-love can shift our mindset and make us feel better about ourselves and our day. The more we repeat positive thoughts (scripture, affirmations), the easier it is to recall them in the midst of chaos or uncertainties.

Studies show that self-affirmation have a powerful effect, minimizing anxiety, stress and defensiveness. While allowing us to be open to self improvement. As well as challenging and overcoming self-sabotage or negative thoughts.

I use biblical affirmations when I'm in doubt, worried or just having a bad day. They are my reminder of Gods promises to me. And, because I already know that HE is a God that can not lie, as I speak them a spirit of calm and peace replaces the negativity.

Some of my favorite and most used biblical affirmations are God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and self control. I am loved by God. God will never leave me or forsake me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.

So the next time you are having a bad day, speak positively over your life and see the change in your mindset. Proverbs 18:21 declares "the power of life and death are in the tongues".

I pray this post will be a blessing to you and enhance your day, your life.
