Loving your self is an important aspect of living a full and healthy life.Meditation is a form of self care.
In my research of meditation I've learned it's not just about what we see on TV. You know the image of someone sitting on the floor Indian style. I'm so glad that is not the case. Cause those days for me are over, real talk.
Positions for meditation are whatever is comfortable for you. Whether that be sitting in your car, at your desk, on your sofa or lying in your bed.
The key is to relax your mind using the breathing techniques I previously posted. Inhale deeply through your nose. Exhale completely (like blowing out a candle) slow and steady.
The 2nd part of the process is listening to something calming and relaxing for you. Whether it be music, sounds of the waves etc.
For me it is listening to 1 of 4 meditation videos I researched on YouTube. One of which I am sharing today.
